Kevin Mitchell – Founder
Kevin Mitchell is the founder of Kit 14 Public Relations. Starting out in tourism public relations, he has had thorough experience with destination clients across the United States. With thoughtful pitching and an earnest approach to PR tactics, he helped secure numerous pieces of regional and national coverage.
Starting in 2025, Kevin has been providing public relations services in the Chapel Hill area. His efforts have been lent to political candidates and local businesses.
Yes, Kevin used to be a lacrosse player… and still is. Since 2019, he has been a director of the lacrosse nonprofit organization, Chapel Hill Legion Lacrosse. The namesake of “Kit 14” is the jersey number he has worn during nearly two decades of athletic competitions.
